Increase the visibility and synergies between H2020 supported actions in the field of the CSP projects and community is a key action in the dissemination activities of the MOSAIC project. MOSAIC project will benefit from the developments of the WP3 in WASCOP and from the STAGE-STE project. Cooperation with these sister projects has been established and it will be reinforced during the lifespan of the project:
WASCOP: Water Saving for Concentrated Solar PowerWASCOP aims to develop a revolutionary innovation in water management of Concentrating Solar Power plants, a more flexible integrated solution comprising different innovative technologies and optimized strategies for the cooling of the power-block and the cleaning of the solar field optical surface.
MinWaterCSP aims to develop advanced cooling and mirror cleaning technologies as well as integrated water management plans to reduce cooling system water consumption by up to 95% relative to wet only cooling systems and mirror cleaning water consumption by up to 25%, while maintaining overall cycle efficiency.
The SOLWARIS project is developing innovative solutions to significantly reduce the water used by concentrated solar power (CSP) plants (by 35% for wet cooled & by 90% for dry cooled). In particular, it demonstrates, the efficiency of the proposed innovations on solar field cleaning, power-block cooling, water recycling system, and plant operation strategy.

The global objective of this project is to increase plant efficiencies and reduce levelised cost of electricity (LCOE) by developing all relevant components that allow implementing an innovative plant configuration
This project aims at demonstrating and introducing into the market key enabling technologies to improve predictability and flexibility of a CSP plant with molten salt energy storage.
ORC-PLUS project aims at developing an innovative Thermal Energy Storage system which is optimised for CSP plants in the scale of 1-5 MWe. This will improve the dispatchability (production on demand) and number of hours of production, regardless of sunlight availability, of an existing small CSP plant coupled with an ORC system (located in a desert area).
This Integrated Research Programme (IRP) engages all major European research institutes, with relevant and recognized activities on Solar Thermal Electricity (STE) and related technologies, in an integrated research structure plus relevant industrial and international organisations.
